Become a BASIS Volunteer

Want to get kids excited about science? Become a BASIS volunteer and CRS will help you develop hands-on activities that link your science interests with classroom and curriculum guidelines.  Or, choose from among our many already developed lessons and get into classrooms even sooner!

No classroom experience is necessary, just some science background and a desire to get kids excited about learning! CRS provides training, school placement, and ongoing support. The program is structured to fit into your busy schedule, and we will help you transform your science teaching ideas into classroom activities that support teachers' curriculum focus.
