Model Sharing
CRS is interested in sharing the model we have developed for elementary science professional development with other organizations. Components of this model include:
- A unique database system for organizing and disseminating information to teachers though our teacher membership program
- Customizable workshops aimed at groups of teachers working together to build science teaching skills
- Scientist volunteer training and placement systems

Educator Spotlight
Melia Hong has been teaching second graders at John Muir Elementary School in Berkeley for the last eight years, and prior to that, she taught eighth graders in Oakland. She enjoys working with her class through hands-on science experiments and nature investigation.Upcoming Deadlines
